Golf and Pace of Life

Welcome to http://golf-life-style.blogspot.com/

Whenever I tell myself to take control of my golf swing; slow and easy back swing and extension of the arm forward (avoiding the chicken wing), the contact will be good and the shots will tend to be straight. But at times where I feel pressured, hurried or when I loose concentration, the swings will go wayward and the outcome will be disastrous; ending up spending more effort rescuing the situation.

Just like my pace of life at this point, it is just too fast for comfort; loosing focus, making mistakes along the way, forgetting things that need to be done and putting health at stake.

Need time off to set things straight, clear the mind and start afresh. Take a DEEP DEEP breath, take it at a comfortable pace and do it right first time round and conserve energy for the next challenge ahead.

Same principle in golf and in life.

  1. Concentration is really important in golf. If you can't focus well the outcome will not be good. Try to concentrate and refresh your mind before the game.

  2. So true, concentration and clear mind are very important in golf but also in life. You reminded me on Arnold Palmer quote: "Success in golf depends less on strength of body than upon strength of mind and character."
